BIU APC STAKEHOLDERS MEET AMBASSADOR GENERAL TY BURATAI RTD.

The Biu APC Stakeholders led by the Borno State Deputy Governor His Excellency Umar Usman Kadafur and Biu APC Leaders and Elders visited the former Chief of Army Staff Amb Lt Gen Tukur Yusufu Buratai CFR (rtd) Beteran Biu at his Country Home in Biu Local Government Area of Borno State. The Stakeholders appreciated his contributions to the APC during and after the campaigns leading to the emergence of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President-elect and Senator KashimShettima as Vice President-elect. They also appreciated him for his contributions in bringing the Nigerian Army University to Biu and many other development efforts in Borno State and the country at large.
In his response, the Gen turned politician urged them to unite and ensure the success of the Borno State APC Governorship Candidate Prof Babagana Umara Zulum and all the APC State Assembly Candidates.
He assured that the APC Government under Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu come May 29 2023 will fulfill all the campaign promises of development, peace and security.

On Friday 6th January 2023 Former and the longest served Chief of Army Staff His Excellency Ambassador Tukur Yusufu Buratai CFR Garkuwan Keffi paid a courtesy visit to HRH Emir of Bauchi Dr Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu ahead of the wedding fatiha of his daughter Fatima Rilwanu Suleiman which will take place on Saturday 7th January 2023 at the Emir's Palace Bauchi State . He was accompanied by his friend, Alhaji Musa Gora Walin Shani, Alhaji Ahmed Abubakar Ma'aji, and Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani Sadaukin Garkuwan Keffi.

Buratai Humanity Care Foundation Applauds FG Over Reintroduction of History in Schools...

The TY Buratai Humanity Care Foundation has commended the Federal Government for reintroducing history in schools across the the country.

A statement Signed by the National Coordinator of the foundation, Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani Sadaukin Garkuwan Keffi, noted that the grand patron of the foundation himself is a historian.

He therefore congratulated all historians while urging all schools managements to as a matter of urgency commence the teaching of history in the schools as directedby theFederalGovernment.

According to our grand patron His Excellency Ambassador Lt Gen Tukur Buratai Rtd CFR Garkuwan Keffi. "History is a great unifier, it is a leadership developer and a national character moulder"

The foundation Congratulated the President, Commander in Chief, President Muhammadu Buhari and the Hon Minister Federal Ministry of Education Malam Adamu Adamu for this all important decision.

He called on parents to inculcate the knowledge of history in their children so as to be equipped with what happened in the past that will shape their today and prepare them for a better tomorrow.

It should be recalled that the Federal Government has reintroduced history as a stand-alone subject in the basic education curriculum in Nigeria 13 years after its abolition. Adamu Adamu, minister of education, announced this in Abuja, Thursday, 24 November 2022 at the reintroduction ceremony/training of history teachers at the basic education level.

BIU EMIRATE APPOINTS GENERAL BURATAI AS BETARA OF BIU

The Emir of Biu, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Mustapha Umar Mustapha II, has today, Thursday 8 September 2022, appointed a former Chief of Army Staff, His Excellency, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai (rtd) as Betara of Biu Emirate.

By this appointment, Lt Gen TY Buratai (rtd), will among the Kingmakers of the emirate as the title is the third in the hierarchy of traditional title holders of Biu Emirate.

This was contained in a letter to him by Biu Emirate Council. A date will soon be announced for the formal turban ing ceremony at the Emir’s palace in Biu, Borno State.
