This guy is a genius, he waited patiently till the Marca awards to address that he will stay, and for people to not always believe the internet. Singlehandedly made all the reliable sources in spain feel like clowns.

Benzema knew he can't leave madrid at this vulnerable stage. A stage where we can't go for top notch strikers like Mbappe or Halaand, neither can we go and spend 100m on a 29 year old Harry Kane. A stage where if Benzema would have left, then the club's attack would have been in absolute shambles.

Simple words, Benzema knew that the club needs him and vice versa he loves this club. Going to Saudi was never a problem, he still has that offer on the table till 2024.
