Tribute to My Loving Mother, My World, My Prayer Warrior, and My Confidant
With a heart full of love and deep sorrow, I write this tribute to a woman who meant everything to me. I called you my world, because you gave me everything that made my life comfortable. My beloved mother.
You were more than just a mother. You were my guide, my comfort, my strength, and my safe place. Your love was constant, pure, and selfless. You gave so much of yourself without ever asking for anything in return, and that is a gift I will carry with me forever.
You loved what I loved. You stood by me when times were hard. Words cannot fully describe how strong you were for me. Even when I made mistakes, you corrected me with love. You guided me with wisdom, and through your prayers, you covered me in ways I may never fully understand.
You always wanted the best for me, even when you were not at your best. You still showed up with love and support. You gave more than you had, and you poured so much love into everyone around you. Pure, genuine love that came so effortlessly. You were truly my pillar.
You taught me kindness, patience, faith, and resilience. Even in difficult times, you stood strong and showed me what it truly means to trust God and keep going. Your presence brought peace, your words brought encouragement, and your smile brought light into every room.
I will miss our conversations, your laughter, your advice, and even the little things that made each day special. Life will never feel the same without you, but I find comfort in knowing that your love still surrounds me and lives on in everything you taught me.
Though you are no longer here with us physically, your spirit remains alive in our hearts. I will continue to honour you by living the values you instilled in me and by loving others the way you loved me.
Rest peacefully, Mum. You have fought your battles, you have run your race, and now you are in a place of eternal rest.
May the Lord grant you perfect peace, and may your gentle soul rest in His presence forever.
Amen.
From your Beloved son…Babawale Oladayo Orungbamila
