I wanted Ronaldo to have a great game, but once the Super Eagles are locked in, they can make life difficult for any team. Portugal have world-class players, yet they still had to work for it.

Numbers don't tell the whole story in football, but they definitely matter. If your "finished" striker is still comfortably outscoring the alternatives, it's hard to argue that dropping him automatically makes the team better.

Portugal should build a balanced team, not one that depends entirely on Ronaldo. But acting like they can casually bench a player who is still producing at that level doesn't make much sense either.

Until someone proves they can offer more, Ronaldo is still giving Portugal a reason to trust him. 🇵🇹🐐

Reports claim the so called "Vinícius Law" could come into effect from the World Cup, with players receiving a straight red card for covering their mouths while arguing with opponents.

As for me , I have mixed feelings about this. Football should do everything possible to reduce abuse and disrespect on the pitch, especially after everything Vinícius has gone through. But a straight red card for simply covering your mouth feels a bit excessive.

Players should be punished for what they say, not just for hiding their words. Otherwise, you could end up sending someone off without knowing whether they actually said anything offensive.

If this rule really is introduced, it will definitely change how players handle confrontations. And knowing Vini, one of the most emotional and competitive players in the game, a lot of fans will be watching closely. 🤍🇧🇷
