THANK YOU ALL!

Over the course of the last 10 years, we've brought you content from the Sani Abacha gymnasium and Yelwa in Bauchi city; from Azare in the northern part of Bauchi State; from Alkaleri at the eastern end of the state abutting Gombe; from the Toro axis abutting Plateau, and from Tafawa Balewa in the south, amongst other minor locations. We introduced you to new gyms and new characters along the way, showing that there is a huge pool of talent here and that if the right things are done, some of these guys who work very hard, could go very far in the sport! A big thanks goes to all the athletes in the aforementioned locations and more, as well as Coach Bala Ibrahim, Malam Suleiman Usman, Mr Benedict Zamani and Malam Ibrahim Kule! Most of all, the biggest thanks goes to you, our fans and followers, who have been with us all the way, on this journey which began since 18 April 2014 and which comes to an end tomorrow!

AS IT WAS IN THE BEGINNING: OUR VERY FIRST-EVER FACEBOOK POST!

Exactly 10 years ago today, on 18 April 2014, we set out on a mission to bring the talent and potential of Bauchi bodybuilding to the world!

This picture, taken at the Bauchi bodybuilders club HQ, was our very first post, and indeed the page used to be called 'Bauchi bodybuilders club'. We later changed the name after some time in order to make it more inclusive.

As we get set to wind down this page and complete our transition into The Naija Bodybuilding Directory, let us take a minute and reflect on how far we came over the course of the last decade.

We say our final farewell on this platform this Saturday!

Just 1 week left until we close what has been an exciting project and get fully absorbed into The Naija Bodybuilding Directory!

WHAT IS THE CONNECTION BETWEEN BAUCHI BODYBUILDERS AND THE NAIJA BODYBUILDING DIRECTORY?

As you may be aware, the 'Bauchi bodybuilders' brand is currently in the process of winding down its social media presence. Our YouTube channel ceased posting video updates on 31 December 2022; our Instagram account shall cease posting updates as from 31 December 2023; and our Facebook (the original) platform shall cease to post updates as from 20 April 2024, 10 years to the day of our social media debut on 18 April 2014.

Even after this, our content shall remain permanently accessible, and some of it shall be subsumed into The Naija Bodybuilding Directory , a new and exciting project covering not just Bauchi State, but all of Nigeria!

As we continue this period of transition, we encourage all our followers/subscribers to support this new platform, which has huge potential!
