NORTH CENTRAL DESERVES EXPERIENCED AND PURPOSEFUL REPRESENTATION ON THE NFF BOARD
As stakeholders in the North Central Zone prepare for the forthcoming election into the Board of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), the choice before the football family is an important one.
At this critical juncture, the Zone needs a representative with experience, institutional understanding, proven leadership capacity, and a genuine commitment to the development of football at the grassroots and national levels.
Hon. (Dr.) Prince Suleiman Yahaya Kwande brings to the contest a wealth of experience acquired through more than two decades of public service and football administration.
Having served two terms as a Member of the House of Representatives, and subsequently contested for the Senate, Kwande understands the dynamics of national representation, policy engagement, stakeholder management, and institutional leadership.
More importantly, his commitment to football is not theoretical. As Chairman of the Plateau State Football Association (PLFA), he has continued to devote his energy and experience to strengthening football structures, promoting grassroots competitions, supporting talent identification, encouraging youth development, and creating opportunities for emerging footballers.
His leadership in football administration has reinforced his understanding of the realities confronting players, coaches, clubs, academies, administrators, and grassroots stakeholders.
This combination of legislative experience, football administration, grassroots engagement, and national exposure gives Kwande a distinctive perspective that can add value to the NFF Board.
The North Central Zone needs a representative who will not only occupy a seat, but will actively represent the interests of the Zone, advocate for stronger grassroots development, promote opportunities for young talents, support coaching development, and contribute constructively to the advancement of Nigerian football.
