MINISTERING: DCNS UCHE
THEME: HOW TO MAXIMIZE THE NEW
TEXT: Psalm 100:4 (MSG)
OPENING CHARGE
As we come to the end of another month, we return to God with thanksgiving in our hearts.
Psalm 100:4 (MSG) says:
“Enter with the password: ‘Thank you!’ Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him.”
We have seen God’s faithfulness. We have seen His preservation. We have seen His mercy. We have seen doors open, battles won, and lives preserved.
Therefore, we will not end this month with complaints. We will end it with thanksgiving!
We will enter the new month with praise, with understanding, with wisdom, and with a fresh determination to MAXIMIZE THE NEW.
PRAYER POINTS
1. PRAYER FOR PRESERVATION
Father, we thank You for keeping every one of us. As the Lord has kept us from the beginning of this year until now, we shall see 2027 alive, strong, fulfilled and established in Jesus’ name.
Every power assigned to cut short our lives and destinies, we declare that it shall not prosper!
2. WE BIND THE HAND OF THE ENEMY
Every hand of the enemy stretched against our lives, families, businesses, ministries and destinies, we bind you in the name of Jesus!
We declare that the enemy will not have the final say concerning us.
3. PRAYER INTO SEPTEMBER
As we step into September, we step into it by the power of God.
We walk into September with divine favour, supernatural speed, unusual opportunities, divine connections and testimonies.
We walk into September magnificently!
4. NO LOSS OVER KGM
There shall be no loss over KGM!
No loss of lives.
No loss of members.
No loss of destinies.
No loss of resources.
No loss of opportunities.
No loss of what God has entrusted into our hands.
KGM shall flourish in the name of Jesus!
5. THE BLOOD OVER KGM
We raise a banner of the Blood of Jesus over KGM, over our families, over our homes, over our businesses and over everything that concerns us.
The Blood speaks for us!
The Blood speaks preservation.
The Blood speaks victory.
The Blood speaks mercy.
The Blood speaks deliverance.
The Blood speaks over all that is ours!
6. DIVINE SECURITY
We deploy the angels of the Lord over our homes, our families and the entire KGM family.
Our borders are manned by the angels of the Lord.
Every entrance and exit is secured by the power of God.
No evil shall befall us, and no plague shall come near our dwelling places, in Jesus’ name!
HOW TO MAXIMIZE THE NEW
One major way to maximize the new is to have an understanding of the season you have entered.
For when purpose is not known, abuse becomes inevitable.
God can bring you into a season you prayed for, but the question is:
WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN GOD BRINGS YOU INTO THE SEASON YOU PRAYED FOR?
It is one thing to pray for the new.
It is another thing to recognize the new.
And it is yet another thing to maximize and sustain the new.
Text: 1 Peter 2:9 (MSG)
You have been called out. You have been separated. You have been brought into His marvelous light.
Therefore, when God brings you into a new season, you must understand what that season requires of you.
1. MAXIMIZE WHAT GOD HAS GIVEN YOU
How do you maximize and sustain what the Lord has placed in your hands?
MAXIMIZE IT!
No matter how small it may appear in your hand, maximize it.
Do not despise what God has given you because you are comparing it with what someone else has.
What is in your hand may look small today, but with understanding, diligence and stewardship, it can become something significant.
Have an understanding of purpose.
Ask yourself:
Why has God placed me here?
Why has God given me this opportunity?
What does God expect me to do with what He has put in my hands?
QUOTE:
“Comfort can dull our minds. Always maximize the positions God has placed you in.”
Do not become so comfortable in the new that you stop growing.
Maximize the opportunity.
Maximize the position.
Maximize the relationship.
Maximize the assignment.
Maximize the season.
2. STAY OBEDIENT TO INSTRUCTIONS
Every new phase has an instruction attached to it.
Proverbs 4:13 (NIV)
“Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life.”
Instructions eliminate damnation.
When God has taken you there, be careful to obey the instructions that brought you there and the instructions that will sustain you there.
Sometimes, what will preserve you in your new season is not another prayer.
It is obedience to an instruction.
Look at Joshua 7:11.
Israel had entered a new territory, but disobedience to God’s instruction brought consequences.
Look at Esther.
Esther paid attention to the instructions of her uncle, Mordecai, and her obedience positioned her to become an instrument of deliverance for an entire nation.
We must pay attention to every instruction God gives us in this season of THE NEW.
Do not become familiar with divine instructions.
Do not negotiate with instructions.
Do not obey selectively.
Text: 1 Kings 13
Instructions eliminate damnation.
The prophet in 1 Kings 13 received a clear instruction, but when he allowed another voice to override the instruction he had received from God, the consequences were severe.
Therefore:
Know the voice of God.
Know the instruction.
Obey the instruction.
Stay with the instruction.
ACTION: WATCH YOUR COMPANY
Surround yourself with the right company.
There are:
* Destiny multipliers
* Destiny destroyers
* Destiny incubators
Pay attention!
At certain seasons of your life, who are you surrounding yourself with?
Who has access to your life?
Who speaks into your life?
Who influences your decisions?
Who are you allowing to interpret your season for you?
Some people are around you because they are assigned to multiply what God has given you.
Some are around you to destroy it.
Some are around you to incubate it until it becomes fully developed.
Therefore, be discerning.
WHO ARE YOU SURROUNDING YOURSELF WITH?
Are they speaking faith or doubt?
Are they helping you grow or making you comfortable?
Are they pushing you toward God or pulling you away from God?
To experience and maximize the new, watch the company you surround yourself with.
Be careful not to contaminate what God has given you.
There are people whose agenda is to contaminate, diminish or take out that which the Lord has placed in your hands.
Guard your new!
3. COMPANY MATTERS
Company is so important that it extends beyond your immediate relationships.
Even down to your neighbourhood, environment and atmosphere, pay attention.
Your environment can either strengthen your convictions or weaken them.
Not everybody should have access to your destiny.
Not every voice deserves your attention.
Not every relationship deserves your loyalty.
In this new season, choose your company wisely.
4. STAY RELEVANT
If you want to sustain what God has given you, stay relevant.
Do not stop growing because you have arrived at a particular level.
Always upgrade yourself.
Always refine yourself.
Always learn.
Always grow.
Stay relevant.
What brought you into one season may not necessarily be what will sustain you in another.
Therefore, keep developing.
Keep improving.
Keep sharpening your gifts.
Keep increasing your capacity.
Do not become obsolete in the very place God has positioned you to influence.
5. CONSISTENCY — DO NOT TRUNCATE THE PROCESS
Let us be consistent in our:
Place of prayer.
Walk with God.
Study of the Word.
Service.
Character.
Obedience.
Praise.
And peradventure you are on your way to entering the new:
DO NOT TRUNCATE THE PROCESS!
Do not abandon the process because it is taking longer than you expected.
Do not allow frustration to make you walk away from what God is building in you.
The process is part of the preparation.
Stay with God.
Stay with the process.
Stay consistent.
PRAISE: ONE OF THE KEYS TO THE NEW
Psalm 67:1–7 (KJV)
If you are still in the process of becoming, one of the keys is PRAISE.
Sometimes, while you are waiting for the manifestation, your response must be praise.
Instead of murmuring switch it to praise.
Instead of complaining switch it to praise.
Instead of asking, “When will it happen?” ;begin to thank God for what He is already doing.
Because when we praise, God blesses us.
Psalm 67 shows us that praise opens the atmosphere for God’s blessing and His ways to be made known.
So, as we approach the new:
PRAISE YOUR WAY INTO IT!
We will not enter September murmuring.
We will enter September praising.
We will not enter the new complaining.
We will enter the new thanking God.
We will not enter the new afraid.
We will enter the new in faith..
FINAL EXHORTATION
Beloved KGM, THE NEW IS NOT JUST A PLACE — IT IS A RESPONSIBILITY.
God has brought us this far, and He expects us to maximize what He has placed in our hands.
Understand your season.
Maximize what God has given you.
Obey divine instructions.
Watch your company.
Stay relevant.
Remain consistent.
And above all, keep your praise alive.
As we close this month, we give God all the glory for what He has done.
For the things we saw.
For the things we did not see.
For the battles He fought for us.
For the doors He opened.
For the doors He closed.
For the preservation.
For the provision.
For the mercy.
For the grace.
For KGM.
For our families.
For our lives.
WE SAY: THANK YOU, JESUS!
And as we step into the next month:
We will maximize the new.
We will not waste the new.
We will not contaminate the new.
We will not lose the new.
We will sustain the new.
We will flourish in the new.
And we will fulfil God’s purpose for the new!
IN JESUS’ MIGHTY NAME. AMEN!
