Good evening, my forever coach of life. My testimony is very longggg!!!! However, I'll try to make it short.

Being in the inner circle program The Intentional Parent Academy is a blessing I'd thank God for in my lifetime. I'm grateful to God for the gift of You!!

Innercircle gave me a sense of parenting direction. I was running on anyhow autopilot, but God delivered me.

My story: I live in Canada while my family is still in Nigeria, although they come summer or I come home. We want them to finish secondary school in Nigeria before we open the "abroad gate." It's been a journey as my husband (who is available) has been with them. Honestly, I appreciate my husband for what he does with the children. He's an involved father. However, there are no proper systems in place (you know how it is if you're not in the inner circle). Even the seeds I sowed on systems and structures before I left were beginning to die. I never gave up. I showed up with my husband for my kids virtually every visiting day, cultural day, inter house sports, and all school activities(my children are in boarding school). When my children are on holiday, I work less, bonding with them on the phone, giving tasks, and books for them to read and review with us. I have been throttling from my distance.

I write them through the school authority always. In fact, TIP taught me how to connect with my children even from a distance.

Coach, my children will call to share deep things with me that when I tell my husband, he wonders how I do it and I say, "there is how to and it's an inner circle thing" Some days, I fight, lecture and he turns off (arrogance of knowledge in action but I have repented ooo). Some days, I beg, pamper, praise him to listen to some webinars and voice notes, and he will listen. I will pray, cry to this great God.

Recently, my son has been going through a lot in school, and he would call me for guidance. I guide him. When he calls Daddy, he talks about nothing serious, so it started affecting my husband because he doesn't understand how it is that they call me instead of him. Do you know that my husband now listens to webinars and vns and discusses them with me.

Yesterday, he called and said darling please write those of your structures again."" Let me type and paste and prepare for their return.

Today, he used "idea" to ask me why I think he doesn't want to work with TIP principles( this is someone who will find fault with most things I send to him). I did as if I didn't hear him, but *E SWEET ME FOR BODY* I stopped telling him to join because he will always say, "darling, show me, don’t ask me to join" and I will be sooooo pained.

Coach, the summary is that my husband has agreed to join the 2026 inner circle. I can't believe it. I will make sure he pays now for himself (he pays for me every year oo) just so that he will commit to it. Coach, this is just a summary oo. My children are doing well. I'm not completely there but I dey work (even from a distance), e dey show. My daughter was in PH boot camp, and Aunty Etima and her team felt my work 😆 🤣 my sons were in Abuja boo camp, and we've not gotten over the lessons.

I will keep doing my best from where I am considering the season of life where I am. God bless you, ma. I'm grateful for the undiluted truth God uses you to release every day. I love you, ma❤️❤️ My testimony is a lot. This is just 0.5%

On Monday, we flew into Uyo to visit the family of God’s General, Dr. UMA UKPAI, since his passing. It was a heartwarming and deeply reflective visit.

Dr. Uma and his dear wife have been a blessing to what we do for years. Beyond them, their children and grandchildren are also members of Our Academy.…

Sitting with the family reminded us that true impact is generational. It’s not just about what you leave for people, but what you leave in them.

The Uma-Ukpai family continues to embody the same faith, strength, and intentionality that Papa and Mama modeled so gracefully.

As we shared memories, laughter, and tears, I was reminded again that parenting and impact are deeply spiritual assignments when done intentionally, they outlive us.

May the Lord continue to comfort and strengthen the Uma Ukpai family.
And may we all live lives that echo long after we are gone.

🇳🇬 INDEPENDENCE DAY & THE CHILD IN YOUR HOUSE

In 1960, Nigerians danced on the streets, waving flags, singing songs of freedom. The chains of colonialism were broken, and hope was born.

But what is freedom if the mind is still enslaved?

Today, many are still bound by ignorance, corruption, fear, and poverty. And guess what? It doesn’t start in A*o Rock, it starts in our living rooms.

A child who cannot think independently is still a slave.

A teenager who cannot make value-based choices is still bound.

A generation that repeats the same mistakes of their parents is not free it is trapped.

Parenting is the real independence struggle of our time.

When you teach your child discipline, you are breaking a chain.

When you model integrity, you are setting them free.

When you raise a thinker and not just a follower, you are giving Nigeria her true independence.

Because the future of this nation is not sitting in the government house it’s sitting in your house.

So today, as we wave the flag and sing Arise O Compatriots, let’s ask ourselves:

Will my children live free?

Or will they inherit the same chains I complain about today?

The greatest independence gift you can give Nigeria is a child raised with wisdom, courage, and values.

Thank you coach Wendy Ologe for the constant checks, it makes the connection really genuine, very palpable.

I have a toddler and because of the Inner Circle, I'm learning to allow him be a Child. I grew up with perfection, I want things to be done just the way I want it done. Anytime I have the urge to act like this, "let the Child be a Child" comes to mind and I just ease off.

Though again. I'm learning to teach him responsibility appropriate to his age, (20 months old). I teach him to pick up his toys when he is done with them, he needs to be guided but this is looking like an automated programming for him, thanks to the inner circle. I learn to play intentionally with our Child. I'm finding out our Son's love language and using it. Anytime he throws tantrum, I tell myself, possibly, his love tank needs to be filled and I try to understand the reason for the tantrum rather than lash out in anger. I'm not yet there, again, emotional intelligence is very key on
this journey.

I'm securing my slot for year 2026. I cannot afford to parent on recycled ignorance. The Wisdom note is an energizer, it keeps making the 'WHY' of joining this academy clearer and clearer. I'ld like to stop here Ma.

My reading Partner has been helping me in no small ways. I see her in my DM often. That had a profound effect on this journey. Always encouraging. Giving reasons why I shouldn't be tired and offering strategies on how to be consistent in the Inner Circle, her name is Mrs Lydia Asu, we're both in Cohort 1M, I pray the Lord upholds her and keep making her smile in Jesus name(Amen).

Good morning Coach! Wendy Ologe My Testimony and Appreciation.

My heartfelt appreciation goes to you, Mama Cathedral. You have been doing so well with your team members, and I pray that God blesses you abundantly.

As a yarder in the Inner Circle, I have learned so much from parenting to my personal development. One outstanding testimony stands out for me: after learning about emotional intelligence, I began to intentionally practice what I was learning.

In April last year, a young man of 25 years accidentally hit my car. Instead of reacting angrily, I came out smiling. He was amazed at my reaction and immediately apologized, offering to fix the car. I told him not to worry. Because of my calmness, he later chatted me to know what I do for a living. When I told him I am an insurer, within two days he became my client. He even told my colleague that he had never met such a humble woman who could smile after her car was damaged.

It has not been easy keeping up with the Inner Circle program. My children are now 22, 19, 18, and 15 years old. I have made many mistakes raising them, and with the little knowledge my husband and I had, it has not been easy. I sometimes feel stuck because the children find it difficult to adjust to the new system of our daily tools.

Yet, I thank God because we have been working with our family vision, mission, and core values. We hold family meetings, and my joy is that we are growing daily as a family.

Although I have not been able to cover all my books, I remain grateful for our dear, amiable Coach Wendy.

I am super grateful for your continuous commitment to help us grow and become the people God has destined us to be. Fulfilling our divine mandate has become clearer to me, and for that I give God all the glory.

God bless you and yours abundantly.

Last year, a parent told me:

“My daughter is so easy. She never complains. She doesn’t even talk much. She’s my stress-free child.”

Fast forward: that same girl had been bullied in school for 5 months.
She never told anyone.
She smiled at home, but cried alone in the bathroom.

When her mum finally found out, she screamed:

The signs were always there:
• Sudden quietness

👉🏽 “What was the hardest part?”

Because I don’t run “quiet = okay.”
I run “quiet = check.”

Parents who don’t build systems assume silence means peace.
Until silence becomes depression.
Until silence becomes withdrawal.
Until silence becomes a breaking point.

Children don’t always talk. You must build a system that makes silence visible.

Recently, I had a conversation with my twins about starting driving lessons once they turn 16. Someone overheard and exclaimed, “Ahh, you have mind oo! I can’t even allow my 21-year-old son drive!”

That moment opened my eyes to a broader question: why is a generation with more access, exposure, and opportunity often less eager to take responsibility?

Many young adults today delay driving not for lack of capacity, but because we (parents and society) sometimes overprotect them to the point of stripping away the very experiences that build courage, decision-making, and independence.

• Driving is not just about cars. It’s about confidence, responsibility, and trust. When a young person sits behind the wheel, they learn to calculate risk, respect rules, and manage both freedom and boundaries.

• Overprotection breeds hesitation. If a 21-year-old has never been trusted with responsibility, of course they will shrink from it. A child shielded from risk often grows into an adult afraid of life.

• Opportunity without responsibility produces dependency. Many parents provide resources but hesitate to release control. The result? Adults with certificates but little competence in real-life navigation.

This is exactly what I mean by raising a social genius. Certificates may prove knowledge, but life requires courage, adaptability, and initiative. When you teach a child to drive at 16, you’re not just teaching them to move a car you’re equipping them to move through life.

In today’s world, where opportunities are global and challenges unpredictable, raising children who can step up, take the wheel, and navigate their path is far more valuable than simply raising children who can recite answers.

The real question for us parents is:
Are we preparing our children to drive life forward, or are we unintentionally keeping them in the passenger seat?
