It was truly an honour and privilege to serve as a guest speaker at the official pre-tournament meeting and draws ceremony for what promises to be one of the most exciting secondary school football tournaments in Sokoto State. Sharing insights with coaches from both private and public secondary schools on the finer details of coaching, tactical preparation, player management, and handling pressure at the highest level was a very fulfilling experience. The passion, energy, and commitment shown by everyone present clearly reflected the bright future of grassroots football development in our schools.
I sincerely appreciate the organisers for the opportunity and also commend all participating schools for embracing the vision behind this competition. Special recognition to the leadership of ANCOPSS Sokoto Chapter, Iconic FM Nigeria, and everyone working tirelessly behind the scenes to make this tournament a success. Football remains a powerful tool for discipline, unity, leadership, and youth development, and I strongly believe this competition will positively impact many young talents. Wishing all participating schools and coaches the very best as the tournament officially begins.
