*AIM 2023 ROUTES*

Organizers of the 1st Abuja International(Full) Marathon billed to hold on Saturday 29 April ,2023 wishers to inform the general public that the routes for the historic marathon will be completely blocked for traffic right from the starting point, the City Gate to the finish end, the Eagle Square.

The routes for the AIM flags off from the CityGate Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Road,Kwaba,for the 42.195km into Constitutional Avenue ,to Nnamdi Azikiwe Expressway to the top of the popular Berger Bridge .

The 10km starts immediately after the Berger Bridge.

The Runners will go through Mabushi bridge under straight to Banex bridge and move onto Maitama to Muritala Mohammed (The Zuba/Kubwa)Express way.

Runners will navigate the Gowon Barracks leading to AYA before connecting back to Nnamdi Azikiwe Express way,down to Constitutional Avenue,to Shehu Shagari way linking Samuel Ademulegun Avenue.

The 5KM runners will take off at the bridge before Sheraton Hotels,into Herbert Macaulay way.

The race continues leading to hospital road before getting to the end point, behind the Eagle Square where the race terminates at the Car Park.

The motoring public and other road users are advised to follow alternative routes provided by security during the Marathon.
