ALICK COMING BACK

RUMORS regarding the return of Vanuatu International John Alick for his home club Malampa Revivors Football Club (FC) will not be possible at the moment, as the 2-time Telekom Super League (TSL) player of the season award recipient has confirmed his return to feature for his current club, Solomon Warriors Football Club (FC) at the upcoming playoffs, next month.
The defending midfielder who was instrumental for the current TSL Champions with 3 titles under his belt told SunSPORTS confirming his returning, adding he’s yet to confirm his Malampa Revivors inclusion for this season.
“I started training with Malampa Revivors FC last week, purposely to maintain my fitness level ready for the playoffs against Central Coast FC.
“I will return for Solomon Warriors FC soon.
“There is no official confirmation to return for Malampa Revivors FC this season,” Alick revealed to SunSPORTS.
Solomon Warriors FC head Coach Franco Ne’e also confirmed to SunSPORTS, the Vanuatu import will return for his side for the playoffs next month.
“He will return from Villa this week,” Ne’e said
Meanwhile the National OFC Club Champions play-off between TSL Champions, Solomon Warriors FC and runner-up Central Coast FC will be played at the National Stadium on February 17th and 22nd 2024.
The winner of the two-leg playoffs will represent Solomon Islands at OFC Champions League 2024 in Tahiti in May.
