CARC Coastal Athletic & Recreation Club is a multi-sport club in Malaysia formed in 2019

Coastal Athletic & Recreation Club’s (in Malaysia) journey started in 2019, it began at the FTKL Athletics Association Development / Milo Programme Track & Field Open meet. It was held at the Bukit Jalil Mini-Stadium for the 13-16 years of age for the junior category. Aaron Lim and Dexter Chang were registered as participants for the club in the Long Jump event. Both performed admirably and Aaron

Lim went into the final, this was truly remarkable considering he was up against opponents from various sports schools. The club was later officially registered at the end of the year under the authority of the Registrar of Society of Malaysia (ROS). It was founded by Mr.Subendran and he brought in other individuals who had the same vision of a multi-sport club that hopefully Malaysia can eventually be proud of. The Vision and Mission

To generate interest and participate in sports and recreation activities at the grassroots and social level, in the process create a sense of belonging. To create habit formation that is healthy and to promote fitness for all Malaysians. To champion integration and to look beyond race or ethnicity, but to draw strength from diversity and make it useful in sports and enjoy recreational activities. To bring back the successful club system that gave birth to so many athletes and sports people in Malaysia and who made Malaysia proud in the past. To build a foundation and legacy so the youth can take over the club in the future and be proud of it.

On October 14th, CARC took part in a futsal tournament (Microfoots FC Invitational), not our strong suit, as we are a football club, but we like diversity and would like the boys to compete in both futsal and football, thanks to all the teams who took part and great spirit by our boys.

CARC-Microfoots Under-10s did an excellent job at Taman Kosas, Ampang on March 18, 2023 winning a triangular tournament playing each other twice. Great performance by the boys beating some hardcore football teams at their own turf..bravo boys!

NEW CLUB IN TOWN!

Coastal Athletic & Recreation Club (CARC) is a club registered under the Registry of Societies (ROS) as a non-profit organization in Malaysia, we are a multi-sport club, right now we are seeking players or new members to join for football all age and gender welcome. We are seeking players both veterans and juniors too, to get together and play matches.
