More than a podium finish. This one means something special. 🥈🏸❤️

Shuttlestars finished 2nd Place at the YONEX SUNRISE NS Team Championships 2026 – NSBA CUP, but what we’ll remember most isn’t the medal.

It was seeing our players and coaches standing together throughout the entire tournament — supporting each other through every point, every win, every loss, and every difficult moment.

A special shoutout to our Junior Team, who defied expectations and fought their way out of the group stage. You showed us what it means to compete without fear and to fight for the team. 🔥

And this journey would not have been the same without the people who believed in us.

Badminton’s biggest rule change in 20 years takes effect on 4 January 2027 — and it will reshape the sport at every level.

The BWF voted 198–43 to replace the 3×21 scoring system with a new 3×15 format. Same best-of-three. Same rally-point scoring. But the way matches are played, won, and lost changes significantly.

A 4-0 deficit now represents over 27% of a game. The settling-in phase that players rely on at the start of each game is gone. Patient, methodical playing styles are at a structural disadvantage. Aggressive, first-strike players are rewarded. And the mental demand — resetting composure between every rally — is higher than it has ever been.

Training needs to change too. Less long endurance work, more explosive burst intervals. Longer pre-match warm-ups. First-strike attack patterns built into muscle memory before 2027 arrives.
