2026 ISKA Borneo International Kickboxing Championship Concludes

Sabah's Monster Muaythai Tops the Medal Tally with 31 Medals

[LABUAN, Sept 1] — The 2026 ISKA Borneo International Kickboxing Championship recently concluded successfully at the Palm Beach Resort & Spa, Labuan. Sabah's Monster Muaythai topped the overall medal tally with a total of 31 medals, comprising 14 golds, 12 silvers, and 5 bronzes.
The two-day event attracted 11 teams from Malaysia and abroad to engage in fierce competition.
This edition of the championship brought together domestic and international kickboxing athletes, offering participants valuable practical competitive experience while fostering friendship, sportsmanship, and exchange among fighters from various nations through the sport of kickboxing.
Rocky MMA placed second overall with 6 golds, 1 silver, and 1 bronze (8 medals in total), while BCG MMA ranked third with 4 golds, 12 silvers, and 5 bronzes (21 medals in total).

One of the main highlights of the event was the 80 kg Title Belt bout, which featured Emmanuel (Baldugan Team) from the Philippines' Destiny Training Center facing off against Kai Chee from Malaysia's Hikari MMA.
In the end, Emmanuel secured the victory in the second round. After Kai Chee's coaching team threw in the white towel during the match, the fight immediately concluded, awarding Emmanuel the championship belt by stoppage/submission.

Meanwhile, the champion title in the Women's 48 kg Semi-Pro division was claimed by Jesslin Chin of Kuala Lumpur's Sharks Muaythai & MMA. She defeated Valentina Nicollie of Sabah's Monster Muaythai in the final to take home the crown.

The organizers extended their appreciation to all participating athletes, coaches, team managers, referees, officials, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters from all sectors for their contributions to the smooth ex*****on of the championship.

The organizers noted that the event not only showcased the competitive prowess of kickboxing athletes, but also further promoted Labuan as a destination for hosting international sports events and developing sports tourism, providing a platform for local and international participants to exchange knowledge and build friendships through sports.

The organizers also congratulated all participating athletes and teams, praising the outstanding performances and high level of sportsmanship displayed throughout the event.

Kejohanan Keningau Open Muaythai 3.0 telah berlangsung selama tiga hari bermula dari 31 Julai 2026 sehingga 2 Ogos 2026 bertempat di Taman Bandukan Riverside Resort, Keningau.

Seramai 41 orang atlit dari pelbagai latar belakang dan tahap pengalaman telah didaftarkan untuk menyertai kejohanan ini. Daripada jumlah tersebut, seramai 39 atlit berjaya mendapat pairing, manakala 4 orang terpaksa menarik diri atas sebab peribadi dan kecederaan. Ini menyaksikan seramai 35 atlit turun beraksi di gelanggang, di mana sebahagian daripadanya telah bertanding sebanyak dua kali. Kontinjen pasukan telah mempamerkan prestasi yang amat cemerlang dan membanggakan sepanjang kejohanan berlangsung dengan kejayaan merangkul sejumlah 24 pingat emas dan 15 pingat perak.

Pihak pengurusan merakamkan setinggi-tinggi penghargaan dan ucapan terima kasih yang tidak terhingga kepada pihak penaja atas sokongan kewangan dan sumbangan yang diberikan bagi melancarkan pergerakan serta persiapan pasukan. Syabas dan tahniah juga diucapkan kepada pihak pengurusan serta penganjur di atas komitmen dan kelancaran pentadbiran yang memastikan keselamatan serta kebajikan semua pihak terjaga. Penghargaan khusus turut ditujukan kepada ibu bapa dan para penyokong atas dorongan moral, doa, serta kehadiran fizikal yang membakar semangat juang atlit. Akhir sekali, tahniah yang tak terhingga kepada barisan atlit atas semangat juang yang tinggi, disiplin, dan komitmen jitu yang dipamerkan sepanjang kejohanan ini.

Kejayaan yang diraih pada hari ini bukanlah penamat, tetapi titik permulaan untuk melangkah lebih jauh di arena yang lebih mencabar. Kepada yang memenangi pingat, usah cepat selesa dengan kejayaan ini kerana kilauan pingat emas dan perak adalah hasil daripada peluh, air mata, dan latihan keras yang tidak mengenal penat lelah.

Kepada yang belum ada rezeki atau terpaksa menarik diri, jangan pernah luntur semangat; jadikan setiap kekangan dan cabaran sebagai guru terbaik untuk bangkit dengan lebih kuat pada masa hadapan. Teruskan melangkah dengan disiplin yang tinggi, rendah diri, dan keyakinan bahawa usaha tidak pernah mengkhianati hasil.
