由 Frecision Pickleball Club 主办的《Freak Pickleball Championship 2026》将于今年6月26日至28日在古晋 Star Pickleball 举行，预计将吸引约1300名来自国内外的匹克球选手参赛，有望成为砂拉越近年规模最大的匹克球赛事之一。

Frecision Pickleball Club主席王凯利在今日举行的新闻发布会上指出，该赛事旨在推动匹克球运动发展，倡导健康生活方式，同时为砂拉越与国内外体育社群搭建交流与互动平台。

他表示，目前赛事报名反应热烈，已有约600名选手完成报名，接近预定参赛人数的一半，预计随着赛事临近，报名人数还会持续上升。

他透露，参赛选手不仅来自砂拉越、西马及沙巴，也包括美国、新加坡、汶莱及印尼等国家与地区，显示赛事逐步迈向国际化，并吸引更多海外选手参与。

“这不仅是一场竞技赛事，更是一个让不同地区选手切磋球技、建立友谊与交流经验的平台，希望借此进一步推广匹克球运动，让更多人认识并参与其中。”他说。

王凯利指出，本届赛事总奖金高达8万令吉，三天赛程将上演多场高水平对决，为选手及观众带来精彩赛事体验。

他说，该赛事也获得古晋匹克球协会（KPA）正式认可与支持，进一步肯定赛事在推动本地匹克球发展方面的重要作用。

他补充，筹委会日前已礼貌拜会砂副总理拿督阿玛沈桂贤，并邀请对方担任赛事主宾。

与此同时，他感谢各赞助商与合作伙伴的大力支持，包括 Star Pickleball、Kasaca、Grandee、Husky Billion、Jerald’s Cookies 及 Hotel 56，使赛事筹备工作得以顺利推进。

他也希望未来能吸引更多企业与单位加入赞助行列，共同推动匹克球运动发展，把赛事规模持续做大做强。

《Freak Pickleball Championship 2026》将于6月26日至28日在古晋 Star Pickleball举行，由 Frecision Pickleball Club 主办，并获得古晋匹克球协会支持与认可。
