The Hungry Ghost Festival has started and will continue until 10 September 2026, with the main energies expected to peak on 27 August.

Traditionally, this is considered a time to show respect to ancestors and wandering spirits. For those who follow these traditions, it’s generally better to keep things low-key and avoid unnecessary risks during this period.

⚠️ Consider avoiding major activities such as:
• Major business launches
• House renovations
• Moving or shifting house
• Weddings and major marriage ceremonies

🛡️ Stay safe during Ghost Month:
• Avoid going out alone late at night
• Avoid swimming alone, especially at night
• If you see people making offerings, show respect and do not disturb them
• Avoid talking loudly or behaving disrespectfully outdoors at night
• Stay grounded, calm and mindful of your surroundings

This doesn't mean you need to live in fear. 👻
The key is simply respect, awareness and caution.

On 12 August 2026, a powerful Total Solar Eclipse will cross parts of the world.

Astronomically, it is an incredible celestial event.

But from a traditional Chinese metaphysics and energetic perspective, an eclipse is a very different story.

⚠️ THIS IS NOT CONSIDERED AN IDEAL DAY FOR MANIFESTATION.

The Sun represents Yang energy, vitality, illumination and life force.

During a solar eclipse, the Moon temporarily blocks the Sun — creating an unusual energetic environment.

According to traditional eclipse-related beliefs, exposing yourself unnecessarily to this energy may cause normally positive energies to become unsettled or negative.

🙏 A Meaningful Heavenly Pardon Day at Loyang Tua Pek Kong
Today, my wife, our son, and I spent Heavenly Pardon Day (天赦日) at Loyang Tua Pek Kong Temple—not to ask for riches or instant success, but to begin with something even more important.

Forgiveness.

In Chinese Metaphysics, Heavenly Pardon Day is one of the most auspicious days of the year to let go of the past, seek forgiveness, and make a fresh start. It reminds us that before we can welcome new blessings, we first need to release the burdens we've been carrying.

As a family, we offered our sincere prayers and reflected on the year so far.

✨ We sought forgiveness from the Universe for our mistakes, whether intentional or unintentional.
✨ We prayed to clear past obstacles and negative energies that no longer serve us.
✨ We expressed gratitude for the blessings we've already received.
✨ We welcomed new opportunities, supportive noble people, good health, harmony, and abundance into the months ahead.

Watching our little one offer his prayers reminded us that the greatest wealth isn't measured by money alone. It's having a loving family, good health, peace of mind, and people who genuinely care about one another.

Heavenly Pardon Day is also a beautiful reminder that while timing can open doors, our actions and character determine what comes through them.

🔍 Qimen Case Study: How Qimen Helped Us Find a Lost Thermometer

Yesterday, my wife and I were looking everywhere for our child's thermometer after his teacher mentioned he might be coming down with a fever. We searched for 10–15 minutes, checking all the usual places, but it was nowhere to be found.
