The 8th Borneo Sikh Goodwill Games was successfully held in Kuching, Sarawak from 29th to 31st August 2025.

This biennial sporting event brought together contingents from Brunei, Labuan, Kuching, Miri, and Sabah, creating a spirit of friendship and unity through healthy competition. Participants competed across six sports – Bowling, Hockey, Badminton, Volleyball, Futsal, and Tug-of-War – showcasing both skill and teamwork.

The Sabah contingent performed exceptionally well, emerging as the overall 2nd place winners, securing 2 gold medals in Hockey and Futsal. The team displayed strong sportsmanship and commitment, reflecting the determination and unity of the Sabah Sikh community.

Beyond the medals, the Games provided an excellent opportunity for fostering camaraderie among the Borneo Sikh Sangat, strengthening ties, and continuing the tradition of sporting excellence.

SSC 4th Biennial General Meeting, Mother’s & Father’s Day Celebration

On 7th June 2025, SSC successfully held its 4th Biennial General Meeting. In conjunction with the event, we also celebrated Mother’s and Father’s Day together with our members and their families.

The celebration was made extra special with a cake-cutting ceremony led by our senior member, symbolizing the love and respect we hold for our elders. The joyous atmosphere was further enhanced by a games & lucky draw, with everyone going home with smiles and gifts in hand.

It was truly a meaningful and memorable day for all!
