It all started unofficially on 18th February 2011 when this group was created for a bunch of avid and hardcore Manchester United fans who are based in Sabah. This group page was initiated by PSG and was known originally as Manchester United Sabah Supporters Fan. The creation of this group was triggered by a bunch of people who had persuaded BJ to really consider having our very own supporter group
in Sabah. The people who were responsible in persuading BJ were Robert Rajah Jr, Agil Bajerai, Kenneth Jayaraman and Don Faurillo to name a few. PSG's persuasion and persistence was the one that really got BJ to consider establishing the club. The initial meeting whether to start the group was at Le Face Pub in February. Laurence How, the President of the Malaysian Red Devils. BJ finally agreed to the setting up of the club. The rest as they say is history. Currently, we have 4921 members (as per 31st July 2023) in this group and the numbers are increasing rapidly everyday. In the meantime, the total of registered OneUnited members are currently 259 members. Our first members meeting was on 5th March 2011 at M-Cubed. That was the meeting that actually decided the establishment of the club. M-Cubed was also then the official meeting place for match day. 39 people came for the first meeting and a few issues were addressed and at that very moment the seed of Unity among the group were sowed. On the 26th until 28th of March 2011, BJ, PSG and Robert Rajah Jr went to the Official Manchester United Supporter Club Malaysia branch to meet up with The late Mr. Laurence How. Our delegate led by BJ submitted 91 memberships from all around Sabah. The number has since increased and is ever increasing. These are the official members of the Sabah Red Devils. Among the discussed matters were our proposed logo, group name and etc. The highlight of the event was their yearly AGM when Sabahan delegates were invited as observers and requested to give their opinions on important matters affecting the club. On 1st April 2011, Sabah Red Devils held their first elected committee members meeting at Krishna Curry House.
