It’s been an amazing journey for me with Teng Ghee.

I started coaching them on March 2025, and since then, I always tell them I wanna coach a dragon team from Singapore that are able to compete with the world standard. And from there we working really hard to achieve it. Back then I didn’t know what problems Singapore dragon team were facing, but in just a few months I started seeing the problems.

Athletes facing NS problems, quitting due to strictness and tiredness of the training routine, and many others problems. One of the main problem are lack of new students.

So while facing all the issues, we come out a plan and try our very best to achieve the target that we set for the team.

I really salute to the students of Teng Ghee for training hard and kudos to the committee members of Teng Ghee for keeping them together.

Lastly, I personally wanna say million thanks to Teng Ghee for believing in me.

Congrats to Teng Ghee and Yahya Awal!!!

And to Yahya Awal members, we will definitely . Wait for me for upcoming new project and new choreography.

A day with full of joy and happiness…

I’m so damn proud of my coaches team…

Congrats to Lim Ying Keong and Shun FU for winning and create a good routine with full of ideas and creativity and lead yahya awal dragon dance troupe team D to a greater heights…

Congrats to Ming Yew for bringing Teochew dragon dance team to another level and a good routine with some nice and cool movements…

Congrats to Ming Yu and 刘奕颉 for surprising me with what u can do a new team (hequan) and really show me you all can do it…

Congrats to Xavier Lee and Jared Lee for your hard work and dedication and commitment in bringing the drum team to such a great level where each team have its own unique percussion…

Congrats to Teng Ghee for achieving a great result in this competition…

All in all…
We are doing what we like and hoping we can bring this sport to a greater heights..

Let’s us continue this journey and bring more trophy back home…

Finally we are having one dragon dance seminar by our very own Yahya Awal Dragon Dance Troupe.

Something new and bold movement from us to the community…

In this seminar, we will be sharing our experiences and knowledges in dragon dancing, including dragon difficulties, choreography, musical and competition.

After this seminar, we will be busy for our second half of the year which is competition and performances and travelling around the world to promote the art of dragon dance..

So I really need to boost myself…
