👋🏻 Hi All! Jo Stevens here. So most of you know who I am and what I do but seeing as the Cambridge Raceway page is super busy, here’s a brand new page to feature my interviews/photos etc from the Waikato and beyond. Only a month until the IRT Harness Jewels 💎 (where did that time go?) and I’ll be doing a lead up to the Jewels, so make sure you give the page a like to keep up to date and get all the info straight from the horses’ mouth!

For those who don’t know, we have acquired 2 unhandled pony colts from a less than ideal situation. In order to give these guys the best possible start in life, we are holding a fundraising raffle to help cover the costs of gelding them and getting them started.

We are sorry for the delay but unfortunately Andrea has experienced delays on the way to Christchurch. Consequently the fields will not be published in the race book, however sheets will be available on Friday night.

COVID-19 Directive for Kidz Kartz

First and foremost Kidz Kartz Clubs are to deal with the manager of the venue you are wishing to hold Kidz Kartz and abide by all of their venue restrictions.

There will be no Kidz Kartz races at workouts, trials or race meetings until your venue is at Alert Level 1.0.

No one is to attend Kidz Kartz if:

* You are sick

* Had close contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19

* Have returned from overseas travel in the last 14 days

* Have a fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath

* Experienced a loss of or change in your sense of smell

Once you are able to attend a venue then tracing and hygiene are paramount. Please ensure you have enough sanitiser for everyone. If children are sharing ponies then the reins, sulky seat and any parts of the sulky that could have been touched must be sanitised. Please don't allow children to swap colours, safety vests or helmets.

HRNZ recommends that everyone fills in the COVID-19 Health Screening Questionnaire (link below) before attending. Everyone must sign in to the venue using the Covid Tracer App - this could be done as a group activity outlining the importance of being able to be traced and also the importance of hygiene and using hand sanitiser. If people don't have the Covid Tracer App then they will need to complete a sign in form.
