Malaysia’s Deaf National Athletes Inspire Students in Saitama, Japan 🇲🇾🇯🇵

Malaysia’s Deaf National Athlete contingent was specially invited to Miyoshi Higashi Junior High School, Saitama, to share their journey, challenges, and determination as hearing-impaired athletes representing the nation. When asked why he chose a high-risk sport like karate, national karate athlete Yilamaran Vispalinggam confidently replied, “Being deaf is not a limitation. We take it as a challenge to prove that we are just as capable and can make Malaysia proud.”
The session concluded with an impressive karate demonstration led by Head Coach Caleb French, leaving students and teachers inspired. This visit proved that true spirit knows no limits.
