A very overdue Verbier update from a scouting trip that was more whiteout than bluebird.

Even so, easy to see why Verbier is one to watch for next season: iconic terrain, real ski culture, freestyle energy, and Epic Pass access.

And then there’s Cabane Tortin — a very special high-alpine stay at 3,000m below Mont Fort, with exclusive-use bookings and true ski-in/ski-out access. Next season inquiries are already open.

If you’re thinking Alps for next winter, Verbier deserves a spot on the list.

Still thinking about Taos…

Went back for a second time this season and it completely changed how I see the mountain. The first trip, I felt like I was just scratching the surface—this time, I had the full insider Taos Experience

A few things that clicked:

– Getting there is easier than it used to be (more direct flights into Taos Ski Valley)
– Staying slopeside is a game changer
– The mountain really opens up once you know where to look (and who to go with)
– Earning your turns—whether it’s early morning uphill or getting out on a cat—gives you a completely different perspective

It’s still one of the most unique ski destinations in the U.S.—a little raw, a little challenging, and very much its own thing.

Long sunny days, wildflower-filled hikes, alpine lakes, fly fishing, and even horseback riding — Jackson Hole in the summer is a true mountain paradise. We love Jackson in the winter, but it just might be even better in the summer.
