I’ve spent more than 25 years working with women around fitness, nutrition and health.
And the longer I do this, the less I believe most women need more information.
Most of the women who come to me already know a LOT.
They know protein matters.
They know they should move their bodies.
They know sleep and water and strength training and vegetables are good for them.
They’ve tried the diets.
Saved the workouts.
Followed the experts.
Started over more times than they can count.
They’re not failing because they don’t know enough.
They’re exhausted from trying to make themselves fit into someone else’s version of what “healthy” is supposed to look like.
And this has become such an important part of how I think about my work now:
The woman shouldn’t have to fit the plan.
The plan should fit the woman.
Her body.
Her health.
Her goals.
Her history.
Her preferences.
Her responsibilities.
Her actual life.
Because healthy living is supposed to support your life.
Not become your life.
That’s the philosophy underneath so much of the work I’ve been building lately—and honestly, it has changed the way I coach.
I’m curious: what’s one piece of health or fitness advice you’re tired of feeling like you’re supposed to follow?
