I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.
Maybe because everything is shifting at once.
New locations. New spaces. New relationships.
We just found a new training location in Puerto Morelos, Riviera Maya… steps from the beach.
At the same time, we’re rebuilding in Bali.
Moving back into De Pijp near Sarphatipark in Amsterdam.
And in Portugal, after testing a house on a peninsula in Sagres, we’re now exploring a converted farm in the Algarve.
So yes… a lot is moving.
But if I’m honest… this didn’t start now.
I learned this the hard way.
For years, I trained in corporate hotels.
You know the ones.
Basement rooms. No windows.
Carpets that make your brain feel slightly off.
Air conditioning so cold you forget you’re in the tropics.
And the moment you step outside…
you’re surrounded by business that feels completely disconnected from anything human.
At some point I just thought—
I’m done.
Because the work we do asks people to open up.
To reflect.
To be honest. Sometimes painfully honest.
And then we put them in a room that feels like a holding cell with flipcharts.
It didn’t make sense anymore.
So I changed it.
Now I choose spaces that breathe.
Places that support the work instead of draining it.
Because where you learn…
changes what you learn.
And maybe even who you become.
