Today, we locked in a solid 16KM and showed once again that when we move together, we go further!

A massive shout-out to everyone who showed up, laced up and put in the work today. Whether you came to chase a pace, chase a PB, or simply chase your friends 😂 YOU SHOWED UP, and that’s what matters👏🏾

Now get some well-deserved rest because Tuesday is coming, then Wednesday, and before you know it, Saturday again! 😅 Matter of fact, we’re pretty sure we’ll be seeing you there! 👀😂

The Joggers on the Move tribe came out in full force this morning to support the Malawi Rotary Cancer Run 2026 at Gateway Mall in Lilongwe. 🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♂️💪🏾

And for some of us, it was 21 kilometres of pure blissfulness! 😄🔥

But today was bigger than the kilometres, the pace or the finish line. We ran for a cause that matters — supporting efforts to improve cancer treatment, prevention and awareness at Likuni Mission Hospital. 🎗️❤️

Organised by the Rotary Club of Bwaila with support from Centenary Bank, the run brought people together around one simple idea: every step can make a difference in the fight against cancer.

For the JOM family, this is what running is also about. We run for our health. We run for fellowship. We run for each other. And when the cause calls, we show up!

Well done, Tribe! Another beautiful morning on the streets of Lilongwe. 21KM done and dusted. 👏🏾🔥

MWK 10 MILLION FOR THE JOM CAUSE! 🙌🏾🏃🏾‍♂️🏃🏾‍♀️

Some partnerships go beyond supporting an event. They support a cause and the communities behind it.

Joggers on the Move extends its sincere appreciation to Creck Hardware and General Suppliers LTD for the incredible MWK 10 million cash contribution towards the JOM Marathon 2026.

This was a huge vote of confidence in what JOM stands for: bringing people together through fitness, friendship and a shared commitment to giving back to our communities.

Our 2026 Marathon was about more than kilometres covered. At the heart of it was our drive to support Nkhwazi Health Centre and make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people it serves.

To Creck Hardware and General Suppliers: thank you for running this journey with us. Your MWK 10 million contribution brought significant momentum to our cause, and we are deeply grateful.

Joggers on the Move is grateful to Sigelege Hotels for supporting the JOM Marathon 2026 with a sponsorship package valued at MWK3 million.

The support included MWK1.8 million in cash, two double accommodation vouchers valued at MWK684,000, 20 crates of water, 10 crates of soft drinks, and two meal vouchers.

This generous combination of financial and in-kind support helped us deliver a better experience for our runners, guests and wider JOM family.

THEY BROUGHT THE NOISE. LITERALLY. 🔊🔥

If you were at Gateway Mall on marathon morning, you probably saw it, heard it and felt it.

That energy had a name: SIMO Entertainment.

SIMO supported the JOM Marathon 2026 with a package valued at MWK3.8 million — including MWK1 million cash, stage and podium setup, LED screens and visuals, start/finish branding arches, audio and DJ services.

In other words, while we brought the runners, SIMO helped bring the atmosphere. 😄

WATER IS EVERYTHING ON RACE DAY! 💧🏃🏾‍♂️

Joggers on the Move sincerely thanks Malawi Catering Services Limited (MCSL) for donating 1,000 bottles of water, valued at MWK500,000, towards the JOM Marathon 2026.

For runners covering 5km, 10km, 21.1km and the full 42.2km, hydration is not a small detail, it is essential.
