As The Infernos, Malawi's national volleyball team, prepare for their trip to Zimbabwe for the Zone VI National Team Olympic Qualifiers, the Volleyball Association of Malawi (VAM) has received a timely boost of MK5,000,000 courtesy of Mudi SACCO.

The sponsorship comes as a major shot in the arm for VAM's preparations, helping to support the team's participation in the regional competition and their quest to proudly represent Malawi on the international stage.

VAM sincerely appreciates Mudi SACCO for its generous support and commitment to the development of volleyball in Malawi.

The team will depart Malawi on the 8th June 2026.

Other countries to take part are the hosts Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia amd South Africa

After a series of tournaments since 2024, the Inter-District Tournaments have decided to transition from a tournament format to a league format, which will be called the CENTRAL EAST VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE. This will allow teams to enjoy competitive play throughout the year. The league will still host tournaments three times a year.

Teams from Nkhotakota, Kasungu, Ntchisi, and Dowa are encouraged to join the league by contacting the numbers on the poster
