For the past 7 years, the Chester futsal tournament has brought together teams, fans, and the spirit of competition in the best way possible. It’s been more than just a tournament — it’s a tradition, a celebration of talent, effort, and sportsmanship.
But this year’s final left a mark. A clear handball incident that could’ve changed the outcome of the game was overlooked by the referees. Decisions like this don’t just affect one match — they affect the trust and fairness that every team brings to the field.
No disrespect to the winning team — they played hard and earned their place. But we can’t ignore that the integrity of any competition depends on accountability and fairness, especially in critical moments.
