An amazing performance by our talented Lucie and the Mauritian women’s team during the recent African Continental Championships in Ghana.
đŸ„‰ « I still can’t believe I managed to get a podium in the road race, very much unplanned and unexpected, I guess that’s cycling! I wasn’t feeling great during the race due to the heat and some GI issues but tried to push through. I’m so grateful to my teammates who believed in me while I was the breakaway. It’s a true sign of teamwork and this medal is also theirs [
] I’m now heading back to London to continue university and I’m really looking forward to the rest of the season »

đŸ„‡ Few days before, she also grabbed a gold medal in the Team Time Trial where once again the women’s national team was impressive.

Why are you waking up every morning to go train?

Cycling is my passion, I wake up everyday to ride my bike because I love it.

Training camp in Cape Town with the national team to prepare XCO african champs (2022)
