Final round. Final push. What a way to close the season in the highly competitive Mini GR3 class. 🏁 of IKC Championship

Proud doesn’t even begin to describe it. Our young drivers gave it their all with our young Mattias Abela securing Pole Position P1, Cody Darmanin with a P2 Podium finish and Andrei Fenech finishing in P4— fighting through pressure, setbacks, and intense battles on track. Race after race during the championship, they all showed incredible improvement managed by love, support, and dedication, combined with strong comebacks, great pace, and real determination. This weekend and the championship truly reflected what GLD Kart Racing Development is all about.

To our drivers — Cody 315 racing, Mattias108 and Andrei karting Racing Malta — thank you for your commitment, your fighting spirit, and for representing the team with passion and respect. At GLD Kart Racing Development, we are proud to guide not only in performance, but in clean, fair racing and true sportsmanship.

Cannot finish without a special word to our precious son Gianluca Dingli— even though his career takes him abroad and he’s rarely present physically, this time he managed for a few hours to be present with with heart and love to support our young drivers. That’s what GLD Kart Racing Development stands for — love, respect, and genuine help without expecting nothing in return.

We move forward stronger, united by respect for the sport and for one another — because true racing is built on respect, fairness, clean driving and integrity at all times.

A great start to the season for Beppe at Round 1 of CEK 2026 in Campillos 🇪🇸🏁🔥

Saturday began really well, showing strong pace and even securing P1 in the morning damp session 🌧️💪🥇

Sunday proved to be a bit more challenging, but it’s all part of the learning process and gaining experience at this level 📈🧠

Big thanks to Wayne Dingli from GLD for making the trip to Spain and supporting Beppe throughout the weekend — really appreciate all the help and guidance 🙌🤝

🏁 IKC Championship – Round 4 Recap 🏁

What a challenging and competitive weekend at the IKC Championship Round 4! Mixed weather conditions, strong winds and heavy rain pushed everyone to the limit — but as always, no excuses, no shortcuts — just hard work and full commitment. 💪🌧️
Despite the difficult conditions and some misfortunes, our young drivers showed determination, focus, and true racing spirit.

🔥 Cody Darmanin
• Qualifying: P3
• Pre-Final: 1st all through and a small mistake in the last lap dropped him to P7
• Final: An incredible P2

Massive improvement from this little warrior — resilience at its finest! 👏

A completely new experience racing in such challenging weather conditions.

• Pre-Final: P10 (due to heavy rain which hindered performance)
• Final: DNF (chain cut)

A positive and encouraging weekend for our family run team Gld Kart Racing Development, with strong performances, great pace, and excellent teamwork on display throughout Round 3 of the IKC Championship 💪🔥

Mattias delivered a superb and consistent performance all day, running at the front and securing a well-deserved podium finish 👏

Cody showed excellent speed and race craft throughout the weekend and was a strong contender before the incident in the Final 🏎️💨

Our young and promising GLD Kart Racing Development drivers took part in the 2nd Round of the IKC Karting Championship 🏁

The weekend highlighted the talent, commitment, and fighting spirit of our young ones , competing in a highly competitive field and gaining invaluable experience in big-grid racing.

Mattias Abela showed impressive pace and determination throughout the weekend in the Mini GR3 category with 16 karts on track.
Despite a chassis issue affecting consistency, he delivered strong performances and kept pushing until the final lap.

Final: P5

A strong and mature drive, proving his potential at the front of the field 💪🏁

Cody Darmanin delivered an excellent performance, running confidently within the top 4 throughout the event.
His consistency, focus, and race craft clearly showed his development and competitiveness.

Andrei Fenech showed great resilience and determination in a challenging weekend.

The 6th and final round of the national championship in our family based team has come to an end. Well done to our young drivers Andrei Fenech for winning the rotax micro championship, Matthias and Cody for placing 2nd and 3rd in the mini Gr3 class and Luca Tanti for placing 2nd in Pole, 2nd in prefinal jn the Iame Junior class and after having an excellent pace in the final unfortunately had to retire due to a broken chain. We would like to thank our son Gianluca Dingli the mastermind from behind the scenes due to his career abroad. Special thanks goes also to Yanica Barun Jonathan Barun and Jonathan Grima who although we're nt participating still did their utmost in helping as a family . We are proud of you all 💙 looking forward for the upcoming together and with our promising young ones.
