Coach - Justin Zammit brings 4 years of Academy coaching and senior playing experience.

Assistant Coaches - Juan Sebastian & Liam Calleja have been with the Academy for the past years and are here to stay to provide development continuity for the squad.

We are delighted to announce that 17-year-old Kyle Micallef has been called up to represent the Under-18 National Team! 🇲🇹

Kyle is already having training sessions with the senior team and forms part of the Premier League squad of Balzan FC.

U14 Coach – Chris Aquilina (UEFA C)
Coach Chris has been a vital part of our club for many years. After serving on the technical staff for this exact squad last season, he now steps up to lead our U14s—bringing valuable consistency and continuity.

U14 Assistant Coach – Warner Guidone (UEFA B)
Joining us from Piemonte, Italy, Coach Warner is the former Head Coach of Pianezza Calcio. He brings a wealth of experience as an FIGC-qualified coach and certified Physical Trainer.

📣 ANNOUNCING OUR U15 COACHES FOR SEASON 2026/2027 🔴⚪

U15 Coach - Glenn Barry (UEFA B and finalising UEFA A). He will be starting his 3rd season with Balzan FC, after serving as coach on other prominent Academies in Malta. Glenn was in charge of last year’s winning team who won U15 Section B title and promotion to Section A.

U15 Assistant Coach - Tristan Spiteri (UEFA C) will be assisting Coach Glenn again after a successful season last year together. Tristan is a Balzan born and bred, having also played with the Academy when young.

📣 ANNOUNCING OUR U17 COACHES FOR SEASON 2026/2027 🔴⚪

Coach - Etienne Vella (UEFA PRO). He is also the Head Coach of the Balzan Academy competitive teams, with 17 years experience in youth football. He also spent 3 years as match analyst in the Malta Premier League.

Assistant Coach - Warner Guidone (UEFA B) coming from Piemonte, Italy, is the former Head Coach of Pianezza Calcio. He is also a qualified Physical Trainer and got his coaching badges from the FIGC.
