*🏆 FRIENDLY ANALYSIS | FINAL PRE-SEASON TEST*
*Senglea Gunners 1–1 Attard EDEX Kings*
A perfect final test before the big step into MAFA First Division.
We went up against a very strong, experienced First Division side in Senglea Gunners — and did it without few key players. Despite that, the boys showed real character, discipline and quality.
*⚽ The Goal:*
A proper team goal. Inshad started it, Daniel (LB) with the intelligent run and cross, and Fayiz “Chachu” with a clinical finish. That’s the football we want to play.
*📊 The Analysis:*
- 5 clear-cut chances created against a top First Division defence — shows we can compete at this level.
- Solid defensively, controlled the game in phases.
- Found the net twice more in the second half, both ruled out for very tight offside calls. On another day, it’s 3-1.
- Second half was a real battle, both teams pushed hard till the end.
*Context:*
Last week 4-2 win vs Hamrun Sporting.
This week 1-1 vs Senglea Gunners.
Two First Division opponents, two strong performances.
*🔵 Conclusion:*
We are not 100% yet — still missing few key players. But the signs are very positive. The shape is there, the spirit is there, and the team is ready to fight.
We know First Division will be a different level. We respect every team, but we are not coming just to participate.
*We are coming to compete.*
The preparation is done. The real journey starts now.
