German adventurer Tanja Braun raised the Moroccan flag in the Merzouga desert after traveling about 1000 km in the desert starting from Zagora, passing through Fam Zguid, M'hamid El Ghizlane, Tagounit, Zgilima, Elnif, Oued Ghris, Oued Ziz, Tafraout Sidi Ali, Taouz and reaching the top of the sands of Erg Chibbi. She undertook this adventure with the aim of feeling the dangers of climate change, and in this context, she will travel the same distance this year in the deserts of 9 other countries.
