“Why are you always talking about purpose?”
Here’s the reality check: Purpose is overrated. It’s not something you find by meditating on a mountaintop or waiting for a lightning bolt of insight. And honestly, if you’re waiting for that magical moment, you’re wasting your time.
Here’s what I learned from my toughest days—whether it was reporting from conflict zones in Russia or navigating personal battles back home: Purpose comes from joy.
The problem is, most people don’t know where to start. They chase after “purpose” like it’s a hidden treasure, but the real treasure is finding what brings you joy and letting that lead the way.
