The Commissioners Female Basketball Club have successfully defended their title, emerging as champions of the 2025 National Women's Basketball League after sweeping D-Rockas in a dominant best-of-five grand final series.
The defending champions sealed their victory on Thursday with a convincing 48-32 win in Game 3, completing a clean 3-0 series sweep and reaffirming their dominance in Liberian women’s basketball.
Their commanding performance throughout the series left little doubt about their status as the top team in the country.
With this championship win, Commissioners have not only retained their national crown but might also earn the right to represent Liberia at the upcoming FIBA Africa Women’s Clubs Championship, a prestigious continental tournament that brings together elite women's basketball clubs from across Africa.
