Commissioners Crowned 2025 National Women’s Basketball Champions, Set to Represent Liberia Internationally

The Commissioners Female Basketball Club have successfully defended their title, emerging as champions of the 2025 National Women's Basketball League after sweeping D-Rockas in a dominant best-of-five grand final series.

The defending champions sealed their victory on Thursday with a convincing 48-32 win in Game 3, completing a clean 3-0 series sweep and reaffirming their dominance in Liberian women’s basketball.

Their commanding performance throughout the series left little doubt about their status as the top team in the country.

With this championship win, Commissioners have not only retained their national crown but might also earn the right to represent Liberia at the upcoming FIBA Africa Women’s Clubs Championship, a prestigious continental tournament that brings together elite women's basketball clubs from across Africa.

This marks another milestone for the team as they continue to raise the profile of Liberian women’s basketball on both the national and international stage.

The club's consistency, teamwork, and tactical excellence were evident throughout the season, culminating in a well-deserved championship.

Commissioners Female Basketball Association has been crowned the 2025 Liberia Basketball Association Women's National League champion.

They clinched the title by defeating D-Rockas Basketball Club 48-32, sweeping the best of five grand finals series 3-0.

This marks their fourth consecutive league championships.
