Charles Flomo aka Coach Beckham signed a one-year deal with Phebe Athletic Club for the 2022/23 season.

The contract will see the young Liberian coach earning $5,000LD/monthly plus bonuses and incentives.

He served as the club Asst. Coach last year, where they finished second on the B**g County Community League table.

🚨JUST IN: Coach Keita to Lonestar National team.

Ansumana Keita will be announced in the next few weeks as new Liberia National team coach.

Full agreement now finally in place with Peter Butler to part ways but not until his contract runs out in August 2022.

Keita will sign as new manager in the coming weeks as there’s already full agreement with the Liberia Football Association through its technical development committee headed by EC, Ivan Brown.

KEITA will head the LFA project in consonance with the technical department of the Liberia Football Association.

As head of the project, he remains the coach of the National U-15 & 17 respectively in an effort to continue the work he’s started.

LIBERIA v MOROCCO: BUTLER HOSTS FIRST TRAINING

Liberia have completed a first full training at the Wydad Athletics training facilities in Casablanca ahead of their AFCON Group K qualifier with Morocco with Ivory Coast 2023 at stake.

Coach Peter Butler has nearly a complete squad following the nocturnal arrival of Prince Balde, Mo Brem Soumaoro, and Mark Pabai on Wednesday for the 13 June clash.

Liberia drew Morocco and South Africa in the 2023 Nations Cup qualifier and get their campaign underway with a home tie against Morocco coincidently in the visistors home because the SKD is still under renovation to meet FIFA minimum stadium requirements.

The Lone Star already have 21 of 23 players invited for the duel in Casablanca, while they await the arrival of striker Kpah Sherman and left back Jamal Arago today.

The Lone Star will take key interest in how the Atlas Lions (Morocco) fare at home today against Bafana Bafana (South Africa) when the two meet in the first match of Group K.

The top two in this group will progress to the 2023 AFCON finals.

GEBRO OVERSEES LIGHT STRETCH SESSION

Following their arrival in Casablanca at 09:00Hrs GMT today, Lone Star have had a first light stretch in their hotel event hall to relieve the muscle.

Liberia are in a Group K home 2023 AFCON qualifier with Morocco on Monday, 13 June in Casablanca for the right to play at Ivory Coast 2023.

Trainer George Gebro oversaw the exercise while head coach Peter Butler and assistant Thomas Kojo looked on.

The training captured two new arrivals in Molley Karpeh and Justin Salmon who joined the rest of the team today from their bases in USA and Sweden respectively.

Footages from the light stretch also spotted skipper Allen Njie, Slavia Prague midfielder Oscar Dorley, Tommy Songo's, Derrick Julu, Junior Yeanaye, Julius Nyanamah, Sampson Dweh, Ben Benaiah, Divine Teah, and Frank Allison.

LFA videographer James Sillah and KMTV's Nathaniel Tokpah are also travelling with the Lone Star as journalists to cover the 13 June match in Casablanca.
