The 28-year-old has 28 assists in the last three seasons.

He’s in the final year of his contract with a release clause under £34m.

Just £34m release clause. 28 years old. Give him a 4+1 year contract at around £150k a week, with a slightly lower base salary and more performance-based bonuses in the final year.

The cost isn’t insignificant, roughly £12–13m per year with virtually no resale value. But he would undoubtedly be an asset, especially considering his devastating connection with Benjamin Šeško during their time together at Leipzig.

That partnership could be frightening at Manchester United. 🔥
