FIFA is set to begin trialing a new offside rule ahead of the 2023/24 season in the Netherlands, Italy, and Sweden which would see football endure a major change.
The new rule would mean that the entire player of an attacking player would have to be in front of the defender to be ruled offside, something that would see the number of offside calls made be significantly reduced.
However, it would also make the offside rule easier to understand with it one of football's biggest taboo topics based on different interpretations from different federations, officials, and other high-profile figures in the game.

LFA, Doxxbet renew sponsorship deal

The Liberia Football Association (LFA) and DOXXbet Liberia extended their sponsorship agreement for three years at a ceremony at the LFA headquarters in Congo Town on 7 June.

The deal, which is worth US$125,000, will sponsor the LFA awards beginning with the Orange 2023–2024 national league.

A cash payment of US$120,000 will be made while US$5,000 will be given for solar lights and their installation at the headquarters.

Doxxbet became the official sponsor of the LFA awards after the two parties agreed to a US$24,000 sponsorship in 2019.

The contract was renewed in 2020 and increased to US$100,000 for three years in August.

Doxxbet, the leading sports betting company in Liberia, offers its customers a straightforward betting environment that is filled with excitement.
