Today, I am deeply grateful and joyful, giving thanks to Almighty God for the gift of life and for the strength He continues to grant us.
I also want to sincerely appreciate our coordinators Amb William S. Mandein and Mr.Quoi for the opportunity given to us to serve the young people of our community. Over the past months, my team and I have worked tirelessly, and through dedication and commitment, we have been able to achieve the following milestones:
✓ Successfully completed a two-month children’s vacation program where the kids were actively engaged in learning and positive activities. They gained knowledge, skills, and mentorship that will help shape their future.
✓ Actively running the Youth Literacy Program, which now operates in five centers: three located at the Ganta Youth Center, one in Konahvillie, and another on Dorr Cooper Avenue. Special thanks go to our dedicated coaches—Kingsley Kollie, Loretha Konah, Abraham Goanah, and Dave Kardea—for their tireless efforts in enlightening and empowering the minds of young people in Ganta City.( Luminos Finds)
✓ Successfully managing the A4AD (Action for Adolescent Development) Program at the Ganta Youth Center. Under this program, we are currently running several skill-building initiatives, including soap-making, hairdressing, pastry, and Alternative Basic Education (ABE) with three levels (1, 2, & 3). All these programs are fully active and making a great impact. (UNICEF)
✓ Upgrading our facilities: Through the children’s vacation program, mentorship sessions, sports activities, and the computer training program, we have been blessed to acquire a 43-inch smart TV and DSTV connection for the Ganta Youth Center. This will further enhance learning, entertainment, and exposure for the youth who make use of our center.
✓ Additional, the practical positive thinker with a growth mind set of Liberia in collaboration with the Ganta youth center ministry of youth and sport graduated 12 young people from a mentorship program.
As we continue to lead, we remain committed to doing the needful for the growth, empowerment, and development of our young people. I encourage everyone to join us in the positive change we are building. Let us not destroy the progress we are making with negativity or discouraging talk. Instead, let us stand together, support each other, and keep pushing forward for a brighter future.
