Western Province Badminton Association, Sri Lanka The Western Province Badminton Association of Sri Lanka was established to develop and promote badminton within the Western Province.

This includes the districts of Colombo, Kalutara, and Gampaha. WPBA is an affiliate of Sri Lanka Badminton Association.

The Western Province Badminton Association held its AGM
at Belta Cafe Ratmalana on 28th December 2025.

It was very well patronised with 22 clubs attending. SLB President Roshan Gunawardhane & former SLB Presidents Prof. Ranjit De Silva & Sumith Guruge also graced the occasion. All key officials of the WPBA were present with representatives of KDBA & CDBA also present. The meeting was followed by a social ending up with lunch

The SLB President commended that it was one of the most professional meetings where all important documents were well presented.
