வடமராட்சி சதுரங்க கழகத்தில் குழந்தைகளுக்கு சதுரங்கம் கற்பிப்பது, அவர்களை சதுரங்கத்தில் சிறந்த வீரர்களாக உருவாக்குவதற்காக மட்டுமல்ல. அவர்களை அறியாமலேயே பொறுமை, கவனம், சிந்தனை ஆகியவற்றை வளர்த்துக் கொள்வதை பார்க்கும் ஒரு அழகான பயணம் இது.
மூன்று நகர்வுகளுக்கு முன்பு தவறவிட்ட வாய்ப்பை, சில நிமிடங்கள் கழித்து தாங்களே கண்டுபிடிக்கும் அந்த நொடியில்—அவர்களின் ஏமாற்றம் கவனமாக மாறுகிறது. “Sir, இப்ப எனக்கு விளங்கிட்டுது!” என்று சொல்லும் அந்த சந்தோஷம், எந்த ‘checkmate’-க்கும் இணையானது.
நாங்கள் அவர்களுக்கு “நகர்வுக்கு முன் சிந்தி” என்று கற்பிக்கிறோம். அதே பழக்கம் மெதுவாக அவர்களின் வாழ்க்கையிலும் பிரதிபலிக்கிறது. வீட்டுப்பாடங்கள் திட்டமிடப்படுகின்றன. கோபம் குறைகிறது. “ஒரு நிமிடம்… நான் சிந்திக்கிறேன்” என்பது அவர்களின் புதிய சக்தியாக மாறுகிறது.
