ගිය වසරේ රාජා මාස්ටර් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවට පැමිණ ජූඩෝ පුහුණුකරුවන් සඳහා ඉතා වැදගත් හා ප්‍රයෝජනවත් පුහුණු වැඩසටහනක් පැවැත්වීය. විශේෂයෙන්ම කුඩා දරුවන්ට ඉගැන්වීම සඳහා වූ නවීන හා ක්‍රියාකාරී ඉගැන්වීමේ ක්‍රමවේදයන් මෙම වැඩසටහන තුළ අන්තර්ගත විය.
ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ජූඩෝ ක්‍රීඩාව සංවර්ධනය කිරීමටත්, ශක්තිමත් පදනමක් ගොඩනැගීමටත් මෙවැනි තවත් පුහුණු වැඩසටහන් අත්‍යවශ්‍ය බව අපගේ විශ්වාසයයි.

ප්‍රතිවාදියා හෙල්ලෙන්න බැරි වෙන්න පපුවෙන් හිර කරන "මුණේ ගතමේ". ජූඩෝ ක්‍රීඩාවේ වැඩියෙන්ම භාවිතා වන ප්‍රබල උපක්‍රමයක.

​Mune (මුණේ): Means Chest (පපුව).
​Gatame (ගතමේ): Derived from katame, meaning Hold, Lock, or Pin (රඳවා ගැනීම හෝ සිර කිරීම).
​So, Mune Gatame literally translates to Chest Hold (පපුවෙන් රඳවා ගැනීම).
