At the Inter-Faculty Powerlifting Championship 2026, Pathum Lakshan (93 kg class) set new all-time University of Peradeniya records with:

🔹 Squat – 232.5 kg
🔹 Bench – 156 kg
🔹 Deadlift – 262 kg
🔹 Total – 650.5 kg

The heaviest total ever recorded in University of Peradeniya history.
