10.08.2025 – Round of 16 Thriller! ⚽🔥

In today’s Round of 16 clash between Friends SC (FSC) and Keselwatta United FC (KUFC), Friends SC emerged victorious with a 2–1 scoreline.

It was an electrifying match that gave the fans plenty to cheer about.

Towards the end of the first half, Keselwatta UFC was awarded a penalty, which "Imas" successfully converted, putting his team in the lead.

In the second half, Friends SC came out determined — within just 10 minutes, "Safnas" netted the equalizer, making it 1–1. The momentum stayed with FSC, and soon "Nusry" delivered a stunning free-kick goal, turning the game around.

With solid defense and team spirit, Friends SC held on to their lead and secured the win. This victory also earned them a spot in the Ratmalana Mt. Lavinia Football League (DMFL) quarter-finals.

Even without a coach, our team proved that leadership, unity, and love for football can lead to victory. Seniors guided with maturity, juniors played with fire – and both teams brought glory to F.S.C.

Our F.S.C Juniors played their first official friendly match today at Army Ground, Panadura, against Al-Fahriya National College U-16 team.

Both teams showcased great spirit and sportsmanship on the field. Our juniors gave their maximum effort and dominated the game with discipline and teamwork.
