Test flight #2 was much more successful.

It turns out APMs does not play well with Altitude Hold mode during take off. Take offs should be made with the Stabilize mode.
The modified Nova was able to take off successfully this time, and flew around for a bit. There's still some banking to the left, which we should be able to tweak out.
The main problem this time however was my inexperience in the Nova's handling, and crashed it on to a concrete pillar. Note-to-self: select a place with more space for test flights.
There's a crack in the Nova's housing after the crash, but that should be fixable.

Ok, so the first flight of the modified Nova didn't go so well. Had a minor crash when it flipped and the motors didn't cut off as expected.

Looks like the ESCs aren't calibrated correctly, or some parameters needs tweaking in the Altitude Hold mode.
