🔥🏑 Hockey Fever in Gampaha! 🏑🔥
The Gampaha District Hockey Association Inter-Club Hockey Tournament lit up the Air Force Ground, Ekala on 4th January 2025, delivering nonstop action, passion, and top-class hockey! This exciting tournament was fully sponsored by Kedella Enterprises, whose valued support made the event truly memorable.
The grand final was a heart-stopping clash between Negombo Hockey Club and Nayakenz Hockey Club. After a fiercely contested match, Negombo Hockey Club claimed the championship in a dramatic penalty shootout victory (5–4) 🏆🔥

The Vice President of Gampaha District Hockey Association Mr Chamath Bimsara Rathnapala has been appointed as the Trainer of the Sri Lanka Junior Men’s Team for the A.H.F cup tournament scheduled to be held from 13th -23 rd June 2024 in Singapore.

The Gampaha Hockey Association (GDH) convened its Annual General Meeting at the Pradeshiya sabha Building - Kalaniya

The meeting saw the election of a new executive committee to lead the association for the year 2024/25.

Special Thanks to Mr. Basnayake - H***y Secretary Sri Lanka Hockey Federation And Mr. Chandana - District Sports Officer Gampaha

And Congratulations Mr Ruwin Fernando Ruwin Fernando elect as President Gampaha District Hockey Association For the year 2024/2025.

There was a progression in the race.
The American woman who ran the first leg wasn't strong enough.

The make-up started from the second leg. She was fast.

The third leg was even faster. She further consolidated the position.

The anchor leg was a wow!
She was simply fantastic!

In short, the race teaches us never to be discouraged, if the start of a journey is disappointing.

With determination, strong will and belief, the goal can still be accomplished.
