On the Final match of the tournament, team “WIS 2006-2010” won a thriller against “WIS 2016-2020”.

It wasn’t hard on picking our star performer of the Finals. It was none other than Mansoor. He stepped up big time, on the biggest of stages of the tournament. He guided his team to the win with an unbeaten knock of 64*(48) and came in handy with the ball, as he bagged the figures of 3-12-2. He truly proved that he was a big game player with these all-rounded stats on the Finals.

Congratulations to team "WIS 2006-2010" on winning the first ever inaugural "The Kingsley Jayasinghe Trophy" against "WIS 2016-2023". Team "WIS 2006-2010" played a calm and mature game of cricket as a team, which helped them cruise to the win comfortably. They were sharp on the field, strategical with the ball and composed with the bat as they proved to be a worthy definition of 'CHAMPIONS'

Hard luck to team "WIS 2016-2023" as they were so close, yet so far on lifting the shield. But congratulations on being the 'runners-up' of the tournament. Keep working hard lads, y’all shall taste the glory next time.

By the end of the 3rd place match on the 2nd day, "WIS 2000-2005" had a thumping victory over "WIS 2011-2015".

It was a no-brainer on choosing our star performer of the game, Vivek Sundaralingam. He was the definition of an all-rounded captain’s performance, with a score of 53(46) and picked up an impressive figures of 4-8-5.

Congratulations on your win and securing the 3rd place of the inaugural "The Kingsley Jayasinghe Trophy" team "WIS 2000-2005".

Tough luck "WIS 2011-2015" it was a hard but well-worked campaign. There is always another chance lads, keep working hard and y’all shall achieve great success.

The fixtures for the final day of the tournament are out, with the 3rd place game being played in the morning at 8.30am and the finals being played at 1.30pm, which will later be concluded with the award ceremony.

Hoping to see a lively crowd present at the Moors Sports Club and some cheery fans over the live stream.

Just a gentle reminder, that there will be ice-cream, food cart, DJ, commentary and more entertainment providing facilities presented at the grounds.

By the end of match 2, WIS 2006-2010 defeated WIS 2011-2015 by a healthy 21 runs margin.

Furthermore, to top it all off, WIS 2006-2010 also made the highest individual team score at the Moors Sports Grounds with a whopping 173/6 by the end of their 20 overs.

Standout performer of the game was, Mohamed Faaiq who produced an impressive all-rounded performance by scoring 17 runs and picking up a wicket with the best economy rate of the tournament so far (2.25), conceding just 9 runs off his 4 overs spell.

WIS 2016-2023 emerged victorious against WIS 2000-2005, after beating them by a comfortable margin of 43 runs.

Standout performer of the match was, Mohammed Nisthar Mohammed Nusrif who helped his team post a total of 156/5 by the end of 20 overs, with an entertaining and an unbeaten knock of 104 off 66.
