A Jayasiri De Silva Memorial Trophy - Season 3 | The Colombo Falcons Cricket Club secured a thrilling 3-wicket victory over Sky Force Cricket Club in their second group stage match. After winning the toss and opting to field, the Falcons’ bowlers delivered an exceptional performance, bowling out Sky Force CC for 115 in 19.1 overs. Wasantha was the pick of the bowlers with 2 wickets for just 13 runs, while Nilantha (2/28), Chamal (2/24), and Duminda, Chethiya and Chamara (1 wicket each) supported brilliantly.

Chasing 116, the Colombo Falcons CC showed grit, led by a match-winning unbeaten knock of 66 runs off 52 balls by Lakshan, including 4 fours and 4 sixes, while Chethiya contributed a valuable 23 runs. The target was chased down in 18.4 overs, marking another fantastic win for the Colombo Falcons CC 💙

The A Jayasiri De Silva Memorial Trophy - Season 3 is off to a great start! The Colombo Falcons Cricket Club kicked off their campaign with a fantastic win against Super Field CC!

After winning the toss and choosing to field, our bowlers showcased exceptional skill, restricting Super Field CC to just 86 runs. Skipper Nilantha was the star of the show, earning the Man of the Match title with a stunning 5-wicket haul, supported by Chamal Prasad's impressive 3 wickets. 🎉

In response, the Falcons made a strong start, reaching 44 runs before rain interrupted the match. Thanks to the D/L method, we emerged victorious by 24 runs! 🎊 Duminda’s aggressive knock of 25 runs off 13 balls was a highlight of the innings.
