โFrom 2012 to 2026, Cytias CC has been far more than just a cricket club, it has been a brotherhood, a stepping stone, and a home. After 14 incredible years of sweat, grit, and pure passion for the game, the time has come for us to draw the stumps on this beautiful journey.
โWe are officially stepping away from playing under the Cytias CC banner, but we leave with our heads held high and hearts full of pride.
โFor over a decade, we played our hearts out in the Badulla District Division III. Until 2023, this division was a fierce, highly competitive arena, and it brought out the absolute best cricket in us.

๐ข โThe Semifinal Streak: From 2018 onwards, we qualified for the semifinals of every single major league organized by the Badulla District Cricket Association (with the sole exception of 2025).
๐ข โThe Finals: We proudly stood as Finalists in the BDCA T20 Tournament and reached the Division III finals on multiple occasions.
๐ข โThe Records: Who could ever forget that legendary 50-over game where we posted a massive 460 runs, powered by Thevin Amarasingheโs spectacular 234 runs

โWe grew from a local team into a beloved community brand. Our strength was always our diversity. We brought together players from every corner of the districtโNikapotha, Haputale, Welimada, Atampitiya, Bandarawela, Badulla, Passara, Madolsima, Meegahakiula, and beyond.
โCytias became a proud home for numerous school cricketers and a sanctuary for Uva Wellassa University players. Through this shared passion, we proudly produced:
