Ghungroo Pooja is a sacred ceremony in Indian classical dance where ankle bells (ghungroos) are consecrated before their first use. It signifies a dancer's dedication to their art and seeks blessings for the ghungroos to enhance performance. This ritual is a symbolic connection between the dancer, the tradition, and the divine.
