Akkaraipattu’s young cricket talent Thakee has made our hometown proud by clocking an impressive 135 KM/H during the ‘Karwan UAE Talent Hunt’ held today at the SLLDC Grounds, Colombo! 💥🏏
Among hundreds of players who participated in the selection, Thakee stood out with his raw pace and outstanding bowling performance, earning qualification to the next round. ❤️
The trials were conducted in the presence of former Sri Lankan cricket stars Chaminda Vaas and Lahiru Thirimanne, who were reportedly highly impressed by his bowling abilities and recognized him as a promising fast bowler for the future of Sri Lankan cricket. 👏
This is not only a personal achievement for Thakee, but also a proud moment for Akkaraipattu — proving that our soil continues to produce exceptional cricketing talent ready for the big stage. 🌍✨
We wish Thakee continued success in the upcoming rounds and hope to see him represent Sri Lanka one day. 🇱🇰🤲

முன்னாள் இலங்கை கிரிக்கெட் ஜாம்பவான்கள் சமிந்த வாஸ் மற்றும் திரிமான்ன ஆகியோரின் முன்னிலையில் நடைபெற்ற இந்தத் தேர்வில், “இலங்கை கிரிக்கெட்டுக்குத் தேவையான உண்மையான வேகப்பந்து வீச்சாளர்” என தக்கி பாராட்டப்பட்டதாக தகவல்கள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன. 👏
